My Life in Cyber-World

These made me curious: ano ang MIRC? That curiosity led me to the cyberworld. I began chatting and later on attended GEBS, meet- ups and eventually, humantong sa pakikipagrelasyon.

I like chatting. Kapag nag-iinternet, laging online sa ym at lagi akong nagchachat kapag nagkaroon ng pagkakataon. I found that being in a cyberworld is just the same as living in the real world. You meet and make friends here the same way you meet people in the real world. Some become your true friends, some pretend to be your friends and, lastly, some become your enemies.

Twelve years. twelve years akong adik sa mundong ito. And do you know what I have learned through this experiences? I've learned to be myself , to be real, to be tough and to laugh at those people who criticize me. Most of all, I’ve learned to accept criticisms positively. Why? Because these will help me become a better person, better than who I am right now.

The world is always unfair, you can never have a perfect world, whether it is in cyberworld or in the real world. If you are not vigilant and you show weakness, some people will abuse you but there are always those who will be there by your side to guide and protect you.

Whenever I read blogs regarding bad experiences, I only smile, and say. "you are not alone, you’re not the only one" and "welcome to cyberworld". Everytime someone has an outburst or write angry blog posts or make up stories asking for sympathy from the readers, it doesn't impress me at all. And maybe other readers feel the same way. In my opinion, a writer should present the topic accordingly. He/she should be true, transparent and unbiased.

Finally, if you want to stay in this kind of world my advice is to make more friends not enemies. Stay real and honest (but hide some private information). Go with the flow but always be on the guard and ready to defend yourself whenever someone will attempt to bully you. Most of all, CHOOSE your friends wisely. Don't just listen and believe in gossip, specially from people who pretend to be your friends and pretend to sympathize with your feelings.
